so i'm checking my national team for my next fixture.. and i pinpointed a player i have never called up!

i checked if he did effectively replace someone else cos I was already on my 22 player maximum but he didn't! so now i'm up to 23 players

has this ever happened to someone? can i replace him with someone else and still have 23 players? is it cos i have reached an advanced stage in the world cup?

No it's a known bug that sometimes an extra player gets called up after an NT match. You can throw him out, but you won't be able to call up a 23rd player.

Oh and if you wish to change a player other than the one who magically appear, you'll still have to toss the unwanted guy, because they will still try to enforce the max 22 rule when trying to call up a new player.
