Since I really liked the Idea Now let's try to put together the Idea of the U23 NT World Cup.

What would be the rules and game?

32 teams to start right?

Best Regards,

i voted no:)

to many teams can't handle it to let play youth nt + normal nt.

if nt games can be played without condition lost i will vote yes

but like it is now to many players will have a big problem to setup a healthy squad in tuesday league games

I voted yes. As Nuno already explained, most youth players have very high stamina. The ones that are good enough for U-23 NT matches are probably going to average more > 100 stamina. As long as the call-up system can be changed to allow separate "A" and "U23" callups, I can't see a reason why not to do this.

to answer on Joe here and maybe Nuno 2

i have some reasonable good youths , if there should come -23 nt system than i have maybe some extra NT players

i played now 1 friendly like many others , so there condition is now 86-91. if they play day after again NT than i almost can't set them up anymore for 2 games

so this way i prefer to play self 1 season+1 friendly and in the week than sunday NT game and no game in week.

i want to add , that i like the -23 idea but i can't see a big improvement for the teams self.
this way (like it is now) more teams get in health problems

some ideas for this can be

* reduce health lost with 50-100% (this for A and -23)
* or other date system (wich will make season longer)

Introducing the U23 National Teams would bring more paying managers to the game which would help Morten to run and improve the game. So it's definitely yes.

i vote yes, the condition problem is very minor and easy to solve... Wouldnt want to see this whole new system ruined because of a silly condition problem :)

Please post suggestions on how the thing should work...

oh, and some good news: there are currently 17 players from Saudi Arabia in the YTF system, many will not come out but many more will still be picked in the next few weeks so we'll probably have enough for the 64 teams too.

Hello peeps....

I see that all, or most at least, agree of how WONDERFUL it would be to have an U23 NT.

I believe that an U23 will help a lot of players for the minor countries to improve, since they'll end up playing in NT, and that would never happen in ordinary Nationals, and that will help a lot of 4th Div teams.

I see a couple of things that could help set it up.

1-) NT Managers cannot coach NT and U23 NT

2-) PLayers that give too much preference for his own team's youth would get fired from position and wouldn't be able to sign for a new tem for 2 seasons. ( SO WE CAN AVOID PLAYERS THAT ARE THERE ONLY TO IMPROVE HIS OWN YOUTH.   )

3-) Players playing in NT and/or U23 NT would loose less STAM that usual... to avoid players being unable to play in their clubs.

4-) The games would run a day after the normal NT's Worldcup, so players could play in both NT if wanted. ( I Don't know if you all would agree, I would think it is great.

5-) One thing that would be great is if managers of a NT and an U23 NT had a kind of link while calling up players... That would be really great to avoid cheating. ( DONT KNOW HOW IT COULD BE DONE).

Anyway... what do you think?

3-)

(1) I agree. There must be separate managers for "A" and "U23" national teams.

(2) I think the goal system from the "A" national teams can be applied to the "U23" national teams. However, the goal system works well for the "A" teams because there is a big difference in the quality of Spain's player pool and Senegal's player pool. I wonder if this will be true for the "U23" player pools (since most youth players have wages of 5,000). I guess the admins can check the figures, but I wonder if there is enough difference in youth players so that the best nations are obvious and a manager who abuses his U23 job would get fired for failing to win matches. There must be some protection against abuse, and probably the best option is that for the first season or two the U23 matches provide no increase to the player updates.

(3) I'm not sure about this, but if everyone agrees that player condition is a problem, then I would support an extra stamina chron job on Sunday evenings following NT matches to make up for the NT stamina loss. Perhaps the U23 matches would have no condition loss in the first seasons when there is no effect on the player update?

(4) I disagree with this suggestion. I think players must only play for the "A" or "U23" teams and the matches should be on the same day. One option is to make the "A" only use players that are 24 or older (probably makes the call-up and goal calculations much easier). Another option is to let the "A" manager pick U23 players if the U23 manager agrees. I think it will be very difficult to allow the "A" manager to use 23 and younger players, but I know that some of these players are good enough for the "A" team. This is the most difficult problem.

(5) I'm not sure I understand.

A team and U23 team separate, thats for sure.
if there would be 1 manager for both ,then no reason to make U23.
Pate is right in one thing - more NTs mean more paying managers and more money -> better service for all of us.

2
U23 competition should have goals like WC does, also according to players' skills.
and managers could be fired if not reaching their goal.

3
U23 should be playerd at same day as A teams, and loose same amount of stamina.
i think its bigger problem for someone to play unprepared first team player than unprepared kid.
if someone is playin kids then he's probably sure to relegate and then its same thing ig his player has 100 or 93 % cond..

4
look under #3.
there are very few 22yo's who could play in their NT.
so think it shouldnt be allowed for a player to play for both teams.
even with low stamina, one could gain over 50 matches in one season, which is also a good material to abuse if you're in charge of NT and your friend runs U23 of same nat ;)

5
also didnt understand

The full manager could call players up by Wednesday say, it's then locked (like now) and then the U-23 manager gets a couple of days, say, to call up his/her squad before that gets locked.
