We are waiting teams right now. Please read rules before joining this tournament. You must have at least 9 U23 players for joining this tourney. Matches will be played on non-cup friendly dates. Please register your match before match date. Please don't register other friendlies on non-cup dates until you are knocked out of this tournament!


Tournament Rules:
1) In every match each team has to have at least 9 players 23 years or younger!
2) You can use up to 2 players over 23 in a match!
3) Players that are over 23 cannot have salary over 50,000!
4) Use of loaned players is permitted!
5) Do not schedule any friendly matches until you are eliminated from it!
6) Every match in which one team breaks these rules will be registered 3-0 for the opponent! If the opponent won by 3 goals or more an additional goal will be added to their result.
7) If a draw will be at qualification round, smaller average aged team (starting 11) will be counted as winner.
8) If teams end up with the same points in group phase, firstly goal difference, secondly match between that two team, lastly starting team age will be used.
9) Matches won't be checked for illegal lineups. Every team is supposed to check his own opponent for illegal lineup. If so, they have to be reported to organizers via FGM or you can type it here also.
This will also save our time. It's a small effort for everyone to check his or her own match.
10) You should send your friendly match offer minimum 2 days before the match date. Each team should do it. It's not a task for home or away team.

Last season we had 20 teams, but we need a minimum 16 teams to run the YFT. I am guessing we will at least get that.

Seeding:

Teams will be seeded accordingly into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc seeds. If a team participated last season their seed will be based on the points they earned. If a team did not participate, they will have 0 points, however the avg age of their youth will be taken into consideration when the seeds are made.

After seeds are assigned, drawing of groups will be done on a random basis. Group winners will play at home while home and away teams for latter stages will be chosen by merit of goal difference.

All updates, tables and fixtures will be posted on forum. Announcements will also be posted on the Forum. If a situation occurs not covered by above, the organizers will attempt to make the fairest decision possible.

Winner will get 1 season free paying manager status as a prize!

Tuesday and Thursday will be open dates for the YFT. We will look to have our first match Saturday. Ideally we will close applications on Wednesday in the early hours of the morning server time (Tuesday night for me). That only gives another 48 hours from now until applications close, but since the season updated today I think most people will be on here by then!
