aren't we supposed to be eligible to pick from new spots, left by managers who didn't get the "team goal" ?

are the NT goals public? haven't seen them anywhere, or even heard of them.

can something be done so that unmanaged National Teams automatically select the best 22 nationals (criteria could be either stats or wage, up to the admins) during qualifying and WC matches, and the best 22 youths (say aged 16 to 23) during friendlies? imagine if the last active manager for a particular NT left a 31yo 60k in the starting lineup for example.. wouldn't be fair on more deserving players for the NT

The manager is supposed to do this, and the match engine selecting the youths for freindlies wouldn't do anything because, if there is no manager then the friendlies are not reg'ed anyways; if there is a manager, he is supposed to choose the youths.

There is already a criteria for top 22 players during WC competitive matches.
