Just wanna say a big congratz to Rob and his China team on winning the World Cup.
On it's own it is a fine achievement, but the truly amazing thing is he single-handedly made them what they are. An unbelievable 8 of the starting 11 came from his finds in the old ytf system(only 1 still remains in his club team), he took over China when still a 1 pointer team, played youths as much as poss to develop them and is now reaping the benefits.

Great job :8):

Its an eponimous story of a team that made its way up from almost nothing.

Thanks guys!

In all honesty they have a pretty solid starting 11 but very little strength in depth. The average age is up to around 30 now with few replacements coming through. At some point I'll fail to met my objective and get the boot.

They've got some nice players around 20-22yo though but the defence in that age group is weak. Something for a new manager to work with if they can plug the gaps in defence.

It's 2 years since I took over so 8 seasons I guess. Started off with 1pt objectives and built from there. Lack of depth is and always will be a problem for China - only 5 teams in the game and 3 of them are currently unmanaged.
