No, that is because both teams had a goal higher than the round during which the teams faced eachother. Both teams knew before the match that their manager wouldn't be fired due to that match.

What????

Norway had a goal of semi-finals, England had the round of 16 goal.. England won. I thought Norway are supposed to get fired. Don't mean to waste ur time by asking, but why?? Im really confused lol

because before the game, 1 of the 2 teams was GUARENTEED not to reach their goal , and when this happens, the manager doesnt get fired. If England's goal was to just reach the play-off rounds, and they already achieved that, then they went on to beat Norway, then the Norway manager would get fired

No firing happened because these teams with high goals met in an early round. See rules.
