Hi,

After reading the mail from Nuno regarding the youths that were given to us, my hopes were higher than normal to find at least a good youth in my team. Well, after looking at the 3 of them, tehy are not good at all! I mean, what do you expect us to do with youths like this? Is this distribution of youths random? I mean there has to eb something that could be done since they are completly useless. Please, do not read this and think I'm just pissed becasue I did not get any good players but think more what you have done in my place. How can I survive in the years to come without aby good youths?

Mine were crap as well.
And i also saw that FG Mail before i saw my players, and i got some high hopes for a good player or two.
But that was quickly broken... SAD!

I wasn't happy either, but I didn't complain. I got 2 GK out of 3 players, I just sold them and know I'm happy with my update. Try and see the positive note in the 3 kids, try to sale them.

Mate, this has nothing to do with complaining...I just want to knwo who got these amazing players Nuno was talking about and I'm hoping that great teams did not get any stronger. Thsi should be fair to everyone as when we did have the YTF we could select the players we wished for.

In my opinion, there is nothing more fair than complete randomness. At that is exactly what we experienced. My youngsters are also quite bad. The average promoted youngster is similiar to the average youngster promoted by the YTF. So the only thing that has changed is the club which owns the good player. Some strong clubs got bad players now, but some of them also received good players today. One of the goals was to increase the number of transfers. I think we'll achieve that goal. Another goal was to strengthen the relative position of clubs with inexperienced of no manager.

the average points for a 16yo player is 4 points higher now than it was during the YTF times.
There are 22 "star" players. 7 are 16yo.
There is one waged 16yo, 25 waged 17yo and 185 waged 18yo. (this does not mean older players are better in potential, just means they start with slightly higher skills, to make up for their lost updates.
From the existing 16yo, many will be waged next season easily... more than 20, at least.

There is one beast GK out there with almost 30k wage at 18yo. There is also a very nice looking sweeper, 17yo.

The difference between now and before is that the players are distributed equally to all teams, not all will get the stars they want and the positions they need right from the start. Trading is now required.

The intent of my FGM was to say that some very poor teams have some good players and i'd hate to see them get ripped off and waste the chance of improving the team.

I could have given one star player to each team and everyone would be happy, but it would unbalance the game. There would be over 500 stars just from one season and they'd be bought by rich teams. This would increase the gap between the top teams and the lower ones.

oops, did i say there was a great 18yo keeper? Well, thats true, but i just saw an awesome 16yo keeper. 20k wage

Well i was happy with all 3 of my youths gk close too 30k at 18yo and two waged 18yo's so i am quite happy
