While you are waiting for the update, consider joining the YFT!
If you would like to be a part of this, please put your team name and division for season 52 below.

Applications will be open until all slots are filled or until 18.6.2015 (whichever comes first)

We are waiting on teams right now. Please read rules before joining this tournament. You must have at least 9 U23 players for joining this tourney. Matches will be played on friendly dates. Please register your match before match date. Please don't register other friendlies until you are knocked out of this tournament! We will likely use late season cup date friendlies for knockout round matches, but we can adjust the schedule if a team is still alive in the Cup.


Tournament Rules:
1) In every match each team has to have at least 9 players 23 years or younger!
2) You can use up to 2 players over 23 in a match (Max wage 50,000)!
3) Use of loaned players is permitted!
4) Please do not schedule any friendly matches until you are eliminated from this tourney!
5) Every match in which one team breaks these rules will be registered 3-0 for the opponent! If the opponent won by 3 goals or more an additional goal will be added to their result.
6) If a draw will be at knockout round, smaller average aged team (starting 11) will be counted as winner.
7) If teams end up with the same points in group phase, firstly goal difference, secondly match between that two team, lastly team age in YFT matches will be used.
8) Matches won't necessarily be checked for illegal lineups. Every team is supposed to check his own opponent for illegal lineup. If so, they have to be reported to organizers via FGM or you can type it here also. It's a small effort for everyone to check his or her own match.
9) If both teams have an illegal lineup, the team with the younger lineup will win 1-0.
10) You should try send your friendly match offer minimum 2 days before the match date. Each team should do it. It's not a task for home or away team. The sooner it is sent the sooner it can be accepted.

We typically need a minimum 16 teams to run the YFT.

Totally understand, I am in a similar boat. I might have to pull my own application if I sell too many youngsters, which would likely be the best move for my team.

I know it is no consolation to you, but I did tweak the rules moving forward from last season. For this season I am calling the new rule #9 the "geegee rule".

Looking good so far!

Usually we try to get started exactly one week after update day, but I am actually going to be traveling to see family for the next 6 days. So instead of applications closing Thursday, we will stay open until Sunday the 21st and I will try to get the schedule out on Monday. This will give everyone 6 days to reg the first match instead of the usual 2-3.
