Please read RULES first. Teams will be seeded accordingly into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th seeds. They will be seeded according to previous YFT results and the average age of young team. Drawing of groups will be done on a random basis. Group winners will play at home while home and away teams for latter stages will be chosen by merit of goal difference. All updates, tables and fixtures will be posted on forum. Announcements will also be posted on forum. If a situation occurs not covered by above, the organizers will make the fairest decision possible. Winner will get 1 season free paying manager status as a prize. Good luck eveyone. Groups and fixtures: a) Reg Issue: Friendly match offer haven't been registered b) Illegal Line up: One team played with more than two players over 23 yo or used a player over 23 yo with above 50k wage. Match Dates: 22. March 2014 - Group Match 1 23. March 2014 - Group Match 2 30. March 2014 - Group Match 3 13. April 2014 - Group Match 4 27. April 2014 - Group Match 5 1. May 2014 - Quarter Final 11. May 2014 - Semi Final 15. May 2014 - Final 1st Leg 5. June 2014 - Final 2nd Leg Please don't arrange any friendly matches at those dates! If you listed as a bye in the group stage, that is an off week and you can schedule any friendly there at your leisure. |

Tournament Rules: 1) In every match each team has to have at least 9 players 23 years or younger! 2) You can use up to 2 players over 23 in a match! 3) Players that are over 23 cannot have salary over 50,000! b) Illegal Line up: One team played with more than two 23 y.o. players or used player above 50k wage. I don't have 23yo players.... but i don't understand b)

Sorry about that! I have fixed it. It was supposed to say over 23 since 23 year olds are allowed. Does that clear things up? |

Have registered all but one of my matches, just waiting for another manager to cancel our game on the 30th March and I will register the final match |

Points are fixed, I may not change the order until the next round of games are in. That's when I will add in goal difference too. Right now I have to catch up with work for being sick.

Tables have been updated! I am going to double check for mistakes later today but it looks good so far. The next round should decide things for Group A. FC Groningen and Zhenis Astana are tied at the top with 6 pionts, 7 goals and none conceded. Should be a good match. The table is also tight in Group C. Boca, Riga and Praha are all at the top of the table with 6 points. It will be interesting to see how that one shakes out. I personally think that Slavia Praha will be the odd man out. The next few seasons we will have to watch out for them though as they are still one of the younger teams in the tournament. Lastly, I am pleasantly surprised at how few illegal lineups have been reported! I hope I don't jinx it, but so far I think this has been the smoothest running tournament that I have ever been a part of. In case some people haven't, don't forget to check your matches lineups to make sure your opponents lineups are all good! |
