Sorry all, got busy with work and then got sick on top of it. My original intention was for teams still in the cup to forfeit the match. Given how widespread this issue is I am going to look in the next day or so at the knockout rounds to see if we can cut down on matches there to create another date for group stage. I also wonder how much of an impact this had on each group too.

We have 3 teams that were in the cup and unable to play in the YFT on the 5th cup day. Borussia, Cobreloa, and Atletico Madrid. Let's go ahead and create a makeup day so those teams can match up and any others have a chance to as well.

I had planned on there being a Home and Away set for the Semi-Finals, but we can knock that down to a single round with Home and Away still being in the Finals. Please note that from the makeup day to the first knockout round and from first to second knockout rounds will be 3 days! Plus we will run right through the last friendly so we won't have any more room for make ups.

All sounds good, and far better than penalising those still in the cup with a forfeit, but when is this 'Make up' day going to be?

Ah, my mistake. I thought I mentioned that too. The make up day is the date you were already looking at. Thursday 7. May 2015.


That does mean that any impact this has on groups will be tight though. Next match day is Sunday the 10th of May.

I figure that it cancels out. Shame, next match up between you and Slavia would have been huge if they won today. I think it basically settles where you both land in knockout stages though.
