COMPLETE - ENJOY!I'm putting together the final touches on a big update for FG - possibly the biggest i've done, with regards to the number of changes - I can only apologise for how long it's took me to get this live!
I'm planning to push this update to the live server during the evening of 7th August and it will include the below changes (in no particular order):
Change Log- Enhanced logo / favicon

- Fix for the Transfer Negotiations to ensure squad numbers are between minimum and maximum
- A number of fixes to the season update routines to correctly handle player retirement
- Ability to add a player to the comparison directly from the player page (Paying Manager only)
- Overhauled the Player Comparison page (Paying Manager only)
- Ability to filter out players from unmanaged teams in the player search
- Prevent Transfer Negotiations being accepted from the same IP they were proposed from
- Training payments moved to early hours Sunday, to fall in line with Sunday Updates
- Managers are now sent an FGM if they cannot afford the level of training selected (a penalty is still imposed)
- Player positions now reset when a loan is ended early
- New style buttons on player page (to be rolled out across the game)
- New style alerts on player page (to be rolled out across the game)
- Fix for gaps that appear randomly in the manager profiles
- Better consistency for fixture dates
- Re-added missing 4.4 section from rules, regarding player availability
- Tweaked the rules to account for the new auction system and other miscellaneous areas.
- Updated third party PDF plugin component to latest version
- Over 150 common functions refactored
- Over 50 new common functions
- More SQL optimisations than you can shake a stick at
Downtime is required for this update - but it should be no longer than an hour. During this time, the game will redirect to the forums (probably this post), as usually happens during the Season Update.
